About Roy Rivers

The man
behind the
music.

Roy Rivers is an award-winning singer and songwriter whose career includes a No. 1 European country duet with Dolly Parton and sold-out performances at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

His recording of “Thank God I’m a Country Boy” with Parton spent six weeks at No. 1 and earned the pair the European CMA award for Vocal Collaboration of the Year in 2006. His original songs “What Our Love Is Not About” and “Oh Railroad” also reached the European country Top 5.

With more than 200 songs written, Roy brings a storyteller’s heart to his music. His love of song began at sixteen, when hearing John Denver on a road trip with his father inspired him to buy his first guitar.

That same sense of discovery and connection shapes his performances today. Whether playing an intimate room or a sold-out amphitheatre, Roy brings warmth, sincerity, and a personal touch to every stage.
