              Data Migration
              

                
Moving a site to a new server location?

                
Publish the Elements project to the new server location, then copy the complete cyclops-cms-data folder from the old location to the new location. Open the new Admin page and sign in using the existing credentials.

                
Publishing creates the application at the new location. Copying cyclops-cms-data transfers the existing Content Studio installation and content.

                
Do not run First-Time Setup before copying the existing data folder.

              Image preparation tips
              
For photographs, prefer JPG or WebP and resize the longest edge to roughly 1,600–2,000 pixels. Aim for about 200–600 KB where quality allows. Use PNG for transparency or sharp interface detail, crop empty space, and choose descriptive filenames. Alt text describes useful visual content; captions are visible to readers.
